La Parenthèse de Coco
A temporary, beautiful, safe space where a woman can step away, turn her nervous system down, and finally see what is going on.
Most women live in the friction between "I’m still holding on" and "I can’t take it anymore." It’s a freefall between two chairs, and the world doesn't offer a safety net. It just asks you to pick a seat.
I am placing a parenthesis where the world leaves none.
This is for the woman who feels:
-
emotionally overloaded by her relationship
-
unsure what she really wants
-
unable to think clearly while staying in the same routine, same house, same pressure
La Parenthèse de Coco offers her:
-
a temporary roof (chalet, studio, small apartment)
-
daily support (I see her every day)
-
time away from the noise and expectations of daily life
She doesn’t sit there alone in her thoughts.
During her stay, we:
-
regulate her nervous system
-
put words on what’s happening inside
-
map out her relationship reality, housing options, and finances
-
build a clear plan, whether she chooses to stay or to go
She leaves not with a forced decision, but with:
-
more clarity
-
more self‑connection
-
and a realistic picture of her options; whether she chooses to stay as she is for now, stay differently, or one day leave
Not an Emergency Exit. A Thoughtful Parenthesis.
La Parenthèse de Coco is a non‑profit project in development, rooted in my belief that women deserve:
-
time
-
space
-
and support
to think about their life without being pushed, rushed, or destabilized.
This is not:
-
a shelter
-
a crisis centre
-
or a place where decisions are imposed
It’s a parenthesis:
A gentle, structured pause
to reconnect with yourself,
and to look at your life from a safe distance.
What “Access” Means Here
For me, accessibility is not just about money.
It’s making something very tangible available:
-
a temporary home that feels held, not lonely
-
a daily therapeutic container, so she’s not alone with her thoughts
-
the mental and emotional room to decide at her own pace
La Parenthèse de Coco is an invitation:
Not “Leave.”
Not “Stay.”
But “Come see clearly, with support.”
