I Don't Need Support...

“I don’t need support. I have friends.”

Maybe. But let’s be honest:

“We are the average of the five people we spend the most time with.”

If your top five are also overwhelmed, stuck, burnt out, or avoiding their own pain… that’s not a support system. That’s a group chat of coping mechanisms.

Friends are beautiful.
They are not trained to:

  • spot behavioral patterns

  • track nervous system responses

  • challenge your blind spots

  • hold you without projecting their own fears

That’s where therapy is different.
It’s not the blind leading the blind. It’s one person whose only job is to see you clearly.

Is Counseling Really Helpful?

I believe everyone would benefit from counseling.

Not because we’re all “broken,” but because:

  • we almost never stop to process our own lives

  • we’re overloaded with input and undernourished in integration

  • most of us are winging it with outdated scripts from childhood

If you’re here reading this, it probably means:

What you’ve been doing to cope isn’t working anymore.

That’s your system telling you:
“We need a different approach.”

Scary? Yes.
Worth it? Completely.

How I Work With You

I don’t diagnose. I don’t label. I see you.

My role isn’t to put you in a box.
It’s to map your system and help you design a way out of the loops you’re stuck in.

My approach is:

  • creative; we use stories, metaphors, and real‑life experiments

  • collaborative; we design the process together

  • practical; you leave with things to notice and test, not just “insights”

The goal is simple:

Help you become the person you already feel you are inside,
and build conditions where that version of you can actually live.

Rates

Weekly Session: Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, 9 to 9 ( 55 min @ 88$ ) 

  • Available in person at my office in Plateau Mont‑Royal (Rachel & Papineau), Montreal

  • Or online, if that suits your life better

You pay for the session; you also invest in:

  • structure

  • continuity

  • and someone whose only agenda is your well‑being and growth

Insurance

I provide a receipt for each session that you can submit to your insurance provider.

Coverage varies, so it’s always best to check with your insurer.
Useful questions to ask:

  • Does my plan cover naturopathy / naturotherapy services?

  • Is there a deductible? How much, and have I met it?

  • Is there a limit on the number of sessions per year?

You’re responsible for payment, but I’m happy to help you phrase what you need to ask or provide documentation where appropriate.

Cancellation

Therapy works best with consistency and respect for both our time.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged at the full fee.

Late arrivals:
Sessions end at the scheduled time, even if you’re late, and the full fee still applies. This keeps things fair for everyone.

After-Hours and Crisis Support

I’m not a crisis service, and I don’t provide after‑hours emergency support.

If you are:

  • in immediate danger

  • feeling like you might harm yourself or someone else

  • in a full‑blown crisis

Please:

  • go to your local emergency room

  • or call your local Crisis Line / Suicide Prevention service

Once you are safe and stabilized, we can work on the deeper architecture together.
