Trauma is the loss of Connection to Self.
Healing is the Reconnection to Self.

Old Pain, New Day

Altschmerz;  the German‑style word for it:

(alt = old, Schmerz = pain)

(n.) weariness with the same old issues you’ve always had; the same boring flaws and anxieties you’ve been gnawing on for years, now soggy, tasteless and inert, with nothing interesting left to think about.

If that hits a nerve, you’re in the right place.

The Quiet Discomfort You Can’t Scroll Away

Most days, it’s not a crisis.
It’s a background unease:

  • You’re functioning.

  • You’re “fine.”

  • You’re doing what needs to be done.

But under it, there’s:

  • a vague restlessness

  • a low‑grade sadness

  • a constant feeling that something is… off

So you:

  • overwork

  • overthink

  • overeat, overspend, over‑Netflix

  • latch on to the next project, person, or purchase

It helps, for a minute.
Then the same old pain is back, just in a different outfit.

This isn’t because you’re weak.
It’s because your system is trying to get your attention.

It's Time

It’s time to stop treating your inner signals like background noise.

The anxiety.
The overreactions.
The emptiness after the high.
The same relationship lessons on repeat.

All of it is data.

Your system is not trying to ruin your life.
It’s trying to protect you with outdated strategies.

My work is to help you:

  • Identify what’s really going on beneath the discomfort

  • Shift the inner and outer conditions that keep the old pain alive

  • Habituate a new default where you feel more you and less “on edge”

If It Makes Sense, It Demands a Conversation

If you read this and feel a small “ugh… that’s me” in your chest or your stomach, that’s the part of you I work with.

You don’t have to have the perfect words.
You don’t have to know where to begin.

You just have to be willing to say:

“I’m done looping. I want to see what the ISH is going on.”

That’s what the free consultation is for:

  • a real conversation

  • no pressure

  • no performance

  • just space to see if this is your right place to start shifting
