Trauma is the loss of Connection to Self.
Healing is the Reconnection to Self.

Altschmerz:

a compound noun made from the words alt (old) and Schmerz (pain).

(n.) weariness with the same old issues that you’ve always had—the same boring flaws and anxieties you’ve been gnawing on for years, which leaves them soggy and tasteless and inert, with nothing interesting left to think about.

Each day, you might notice a subtle sense of unease, a feeling that's hard to define but persistently present. Distractions may offer temporary relief, yet the underlying discomfort remains, signaling that something within seeks attention.

In attempts to cope, it's common to turn to habits like overindulgence in food, shopping, or other activities that provide short-term comfort. However, these can sometimes lead to a cycle where the original feelings are not addressed, potentially intensifying the sense of imbalance.

Recognizing these patterns is a crucial step toward change. By acknowledging the discomfort without judgment, you open the door to understanding and healing.

It's Time

It’s time to confront what’s troubling you. All the discomfort you feel is simply your deepest self trying to communicate, reminding you of its presence, and urging you to keep moving forward.

If it makes sense, it demands a conversation.
